Fontana Theater to Take the Center Stage

FONTANA - The Center Stage Theater is poised to raise the curtain on its first production in a city landmark that took $6.5 million to renovate.

“With all the different theaters we’ve run … this one is by far the most superior not only in technology but in overall design,” said Todd Vigiletti, owner of the Orange County-based entertainment company called Stargazers Productions selected by the city to run shows in the theater. “They (the city) really did a good job.” Read the rest of this entry »

FONTANA - It was VIP night Thursday in the downtown area as movers, shakers and policy-makers gathered on the red carpet to gawk at the Center Stage Theater, then take in a show at the city’s landmark of art-deco nostalgia and digital-age paraphernalia.

“This facility is symbolic of Fontana,” said Mayor Mark Nuaimi.

“It had a great heyday in the ’30s and ’40s. Maybe it fell into a little disrepair,” he said. “Now look at it. It’s state of the art. That’s a pretty good description of Fontana.”

Review of our Queen Mary Cast

If the prospect of talented performers singing for your supper whets your appetite, then gorge yourself on “Let’s Go to the Movies,” produced by Todd and Jennifer Vigiletti for Tibbies at the Queen Mary.

It’s a dinner theater cabaret show that pays homage to the movies. It’s pure spectacle, urbane and elegant, from the spotlight that creates moons on the wall and reflects sequined gowns, to the intimate dining area/stage bedecked in black, white and red, to the costumes that range from tuxedoes to cowgirl get-ups to Dorothy Gale of Kansas’s gingham dress.
